Privacy Policy for GridBreak

Effective date: August 2, 2026

GridBreak is a mobile puzzle game published by xStudioWorks LLC. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled in the current version of the GridBreak app and on the GridBreak pages of this website.

What the app stores on your device

GridBreak stores certain gameplay information locally on your device so the game works the way you expect. This includes:

  • Your preferences, such as sound and haptics settings
  • Your scores and personal best
  • App settings and tutorial status
  • Gameplay progress

Apart from any score you choose to submit to a Game Center leaderboard, this game data is kept on your device and is used to provide the game experience.

Game Center leaderboards

GridBreak includes Game Center leaderboards. Game Center is a service operated by Apple, not by xStudioWorks, and taking part is your choice. If you are not signed in to Game Center, or you choose not to submit a score, the game remains fully playable.

When you submit a score, that score and the Game Center account it is posted under are handled by Apple under Apple’s own terms and privacy policy. We do not receive your Apple ID and do not operate a server that stores leaderboard data.

Support emails

If you contact us at assistance@xstudioworks.com, we receive the email address you write from and whatever information you choose to include, such as your device model, app version, or screenshots. We use this to respond to your message and to investigate the issue you reported.

Website server logs

Like most websites, the servers that host these pages may record standard technical information when you visit, such as your browser type, the pages you request, and the date and time of the request. This kind of logging is a normal part of operating a website and helps keep it running reliably and securely.

Children's privacy

GridBreak is intended as a general-audience puzzle game. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Managing your data

Because the current version of GridBreak stores game data on your device, you can remove that data by using the reset option in the app's Settings or by deleting the app from your device. Scores you have submitted to a Game Center leaderboard are held by Apple and are managed through your device’s Game Center settings.

Changes to features

If a future version of GridBreak introduces features such as advertising, analytics, in-app purchases, crash reporting, accounts, or cloud sync, this Privacy Policy will be updated to describe them before those features are released.
